4/30 Legacy Wrestling Night of Redemption Results:
Johnny Gargano defeated Eddie Smooth to become the NEW Legacy Champion. General Manager Kevin Murphy demanded Eddie Smooth get his rematch for the title later tonight in the main event. The Board Of Directors added a stipulation, stating Hollywoods Finest would be handcuffed to the ring to prevent interference.
Facade was told he wouldn't wrestle Travis Gordon tonight, but a mystery opponent instead. Jason Gory made his Legacy Wrestling debut, but couldn't pull off the win. Facade wins via pinfall.
Joe Keys came out and issued an open challenge, which was answered by Tony Deppen. Deppen got his first win at Legacy Wrestling via pinfall.
Travis "Air" Gordon made his Legacy Wrestling debut next against Dezmond Xavier! This athletic contest was non stop high flying between 2 of the newest breakout stars on the indys. Dezmond Xavier pulled off the victory via pinfall.
Laszlo Arpad defeated TJ Mathis in the next match via pinfall. Hollywoods Finest stormed the ring afterwards and finished taking out the hometown hero, Mathis. Laszlo says he's ready for DJ Hyde when they face each other on Sat July 23rd in a lumberjack strap match.
Next up is the coronation of the Legacy Tag Team Champions, The Bloodbound Warriors. They then defeat Dave Crist and Chris Silver in a tag team match for the titles. Afterwards, Hollywood's Finest take out The Bloodbound Warriors. Dave Crist then turns on Chris with a low blow and cuts a promo.
David Starr defeated Caleb Konley via pinfall in singles action.
In a special women's attraction, Candice LeRae defeated Penelope Ford via pinfall.
In the main event, Eddie Smooth was able to defeat Johnny Gargano via pinfall to become a 2 time Legacy Champion. When referee Bryce Remsburg was knocked out cold, Andy Vineberg was able to get the keys to the handcuffs and set himself free. GM Kevin Murphy tossed Vineberg a pair of brass knuckles, which led to Vineberg knocking out Gargano, then draping Smooth's arm over him. Gargano was able to kick out, but once Hollywood's Finest distracted the ref a second time, Smooth was able to deliver a low blow to Gargano and hit the photo finish for the 123.
